our instructors

  • A certified mat, Reformer, and Barre instructor, I’m working on finalizing my STOTT certification. I’m a fitness enthusiast, who’s inspired by fun and functional movement in the classes I teach, and in the weightlifting, snowboarding, and cycling that I love to do when I’m not in the studio.

My classes, in 3: energizing, goal-focused, strength building

  • Movement grounds me - it’s where I come home to myself. As a holistic nutritionist, yoga teacher and STOTT trained Pilates instructor, I start each day with intentional movement to connect breath, body, and mind. My approach is rooted in nervous system regulation, balanced strength building, and flow. We’ll move, we’ll ground - and we’ll definitely laugh when the core work gets real!

  • My deep interest in mindful movement and the mind/body connection led me to training and certification in mat, Reformer Pilates, and yoga. I’m inspired to design classes that emphasize syncing movement with breath, and with sequencing that challenges and energizes you. And to design classes that are accessible to all levels of experience.

My classes, in 3: dynamic, breath-driven, intentional sequencing

  • My certification in Contemporary Reformer Pilates and mat deepened my passion for crafting classes that honour the uniqueness of all bodies. What I love more than anything is developing sequences that help to cultivate the mind/body connection. And if we can work on that cultivation with a great playlist to inspire us? Even better!

My classes, in 3: playful, thorough, curated

  • For nearly a decade, I’ve been leading group wellness classes in several Toronto studios. My love for Yoga led me to Reformer Pilates and I trained with Muse Movement and mentored with the amazing Jennifer Winter of Nice Day Pilates.

My classes in 3’s: foundational know how, strength-building, connection to the physical and intuitive body.

  • I’ve been teaching Pilates for over 10 years, and my passion for it burns as strong now as it did when I started my BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training in 2015. My approach combines a meticulous attention to detail with a fun and engaging atmosphere. I’m new-ish to Toronto, and looking forward to your tips about what to see and do!

My classes, in 3: engaging, challenging, detailed

  • I have come to appreciate how central movement is to life; my happiness; and my wellbeing. I have a non-negotiable date with myself every morning, where I make time for it. I get such joy from helping others embrace movement and wellness in my Reformer, Pilates, yoga, and Barre classes. And from tunes that set the tone in the room!

My classes, in 3: high-energy, inclusive, safe form

  • I design my sessions to focus on a balanced flow of core Pilates principles, with the goal of building strength, stability, and flexibility. And to create a welcoming space, where you feel inspired to move, explore, and challenge yourself in a way that feels good for your body.

My classes, in 3: supportive, warm, and varied

  • I really came to appreciate how transformative movement can be when I saw how Pilates helped my Mom deal with a snowboarding injury. I’m now a certified Pilates instructor, dedicated to helping people move better in their lives. And also dedicated to the sort of music – looking at you, TS – that brings the pep to the steps.

My classes, in 3: fun, empowering, resilience

  • I’m a certified personal trainer, who designs her Reformer Pilates classes to be warm, welcoming, and fun. I enjoy the challenge of thoughtful movement, and when I’m not in a studio as an instructor, you’ll find me there as a student: I take weekly Pilates classes and strength training, and then go for runs every chance I get.

My classes, in 3: uplifting, challenging, focus on core

  • I believe in creating classes where you’re able to challenge yourself safely; where you’re given the space and encouragement to build strength, mobility, and confidence in your body; and where a FIRE playlist inspires. I am forever thinking up ways to build sessions where we balance deep muscle activation, fluid transitions, and moments of release.

My classes, in 3: engaging, structured, skill progression

  • I’m a registered massage therapist who’s trained in mat, Pilates, Reformer, and yoga. I’m all about designing classes that give a full-body workout, with a focus on stability and strength. And when I’m not teaching, I’m trying to do as much surfing, skateboarding, and CrossFit Pilates as I possibly can.

My classes, in 3: positive vibes, technique, full-body focus

  • Having completed both mat and Reformer Pilates certifications, I’m now enjoying the instructor side of things. I’ve been told my classes have an upbeat energy, but it’s not all fun and games: you can expect a full-body Pilates sculpt, too. I’m forever thinking up new class ideas during my strength training and the long walks I take through the city.

My classes, in 3: dynamic, upbeat, finding flow

  • I’ve spent my life as a student of the human body, and what it’s capable of. Twenty-five of those years as a sports medicine physician, and now as a certified mat and Reformer Pilates instructor. I focus on building high-intensity and low-impact workouts, guided by anatomical and alignment considerations.

My classes, in 3: calm, thoughtful, and creative.

  • My life has been connected to Pilates for over a decade. I started with mat training 13 years ago, and since them, have furthered my training and deepened my relationship with it through Reformer, and through Cadillac, Chair, and Tower equipment. I try and blend classic Pilates principles with a contemporary twist.

My classes, in 3: mindful pacing, controlled movement, connection

  • When I design my Reformer classes, it’s with 3 pillars in mind: a welcoming environment, a challenging session, and a chance to see and celebrate progression. Oh, and great music doesn’t hurt, either! I love helping people carve out and protect a little part of their day to focus on themselves, and to park life’s stressors for a bit.
